This is #Aniseed /#pimpinella #Anisum /# nkitinkiti as it’s popularly known in Ghana. #nkitinkiti has a sweet and aromatic flavour. As a child learning how to cook, I was told to add this to almost everything I cooked. From making #meko for stews, marinades for chicken, meat or fish and just about any sauce. It adds a sweet aromatic flavour to the dish. The health and nutritional benefits for #nkitinkiti are just amazing. They are an excellent source of minerals like iron, magnesium, calcium, Potassium, manganese zinc. It’s loaded with riboflavin, pyridoxine, niacin, thiamin.
